The Roofs of the Solarus and Solchalet gazebos are primarily made of a multiwall polycarbonate sheet that offers a high degree of light transmittance while blocking harmful ultraviolet rays.
Black Privacy Glass upgrade
Optional Feature
The Black Privacy windows upgrade provides the ultimate protection from nosy neighbors. The windows are 99% opaque allowing no one to see in or out unless the windows are open. All Solarus and Solchalet gazebo models come standard with bronze tinted windows for a small fee the windows can be upgrade to the Black Privacy. Cost: $175 per entire gazebo.
Anti-Drip/Anti-Fog Coating Panels
Standard Feature
The unbreakable Lexan multiwall polycarbonate sheet has a high tech coating that ensures condensation is carried away from roofing and that there will be minimum or no water droplets. Lexan Thermoclear is commonly used on pool enclosure roofs worldwide.
Screen Kit upgrade
Optional Feature
The Screen Kit upgrade is available on all Solarus and Solchalet gazebo models. The screen Kit consists of screens for all the windows which enables you to enjoy your spa enclosure mosquito free year round. Cost: $399 per entire gazebo.
Extra Door Entrance upgrade
Optional Feature
Each Solarus and Solchalet gazebo comes standard with one 4 foot wide double swing door entrance. Extra entrances can be added on any sides of the gazebo for a small upgrade fee. Extra entrances can be very useful particularly for the larger gazebo sizes. Cost: $95 per each extra entrance.
Virtually Unbreakable Lexan
Standard Feature
The multiwall polycarbonate sheet is known as virtually unbreakable Lexan that is light in weight, has great thermal insulation properties, and is 10 times stronger than acrylic and 200 times stronger than glass.
Weather Resistant material
Standard Feature
Lexan Thermoclear has outstanding impact performance over a wide temperature range from -40 C to +120 C and after prolonged outdoor exposure. Lexan Thermoclear sheets have been subject to extreme weather including storms, hail-stones, wind, snow, and ice formation. Under these conditions the product is virtually unbreakable and is used in many applications including the roofing material on soccer stadiums in Europe.
